Weekly Round up for 7/20/14!

Brenda has a new pattern, Off The Air:

It looks amazing!

Rebekah has a new patchwork quilt using the leftovers from her Single Girl quilt:

Love those vibrant colors and the quilting looks so good!

She's also been working on a quarter square log cabin quilt, using a tutorial by Rossie.

Pam is still working on those patchwork napkins:

Lynn is showing off the quilting she did on a customer quilt on her blog this week.

Rossie made this Poolside Tote (pattern from Anna of Noodlehead):

Brenda made some drawstring bags (pattern by Jeni Baker):

I've been making shorts for my kid:

And we have two behind the scenes sewing space tours - one from Rossie and one from Rebekah.

And here are some announcements:

We have a special exhibition in the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Show next weekend! Be sure to come out to see it!

Also, guild member Kathy is teaching a class on free motion quilting at Pink Castle on Thursday, and the following Thursday, Andie Johnson is teaching her amazing "Meshugana" quilt pattern from her book "Modern Designs for Classic Quilts: 12 Traditionally Inspired Patterns Made New" (co-authored with Kelly Biscopink).

If you're interested in either of these classes, you can sign up through Pink Castle Fabrics' classes page.

  1. Can we organize a time for a meet up at the quilt show?
