Weekly Round Up for 11/9/14!
Every week I go around looking at your blog posts and our Flickr pool to decide what to open this post with, but hands down, this is the most exciting news ever:
Lynn wrote a book!!!!
I know we're all so excited to get our hands on this!
Dorie created a quilt called Rock Jetties for the Robert Kaufman Kona is 30 celebration:
Debbie has a new Kona quilt for the same collection/blog hop, called River Run:
Karen made this Here and There quilt for a charity auction. She used a Denyse Schmidt pattern and fabric:
I love the quilting on this!
Some secret stalker quilts have appeared on blogs:
Kathy S has both the quilt she got from Caroline, and the quilt she made for Stephanie on her blog. Pam has the quilt she received from Jackie on her blog.
Brenda made this adorable paper pieced ice cream pillow for the 318 patchwork patterns blog hop:
Dare I say it looks... delicious?
I made a grayscale mini for one of my color theory homework assignments. The creative part straight line, part free motion quilting was an act of sheer desperation!
The fact that it was finished in time for Sew Solid Sunday was just coincidence!
