Weekly Round-Up for 5/17/2013
Hello everybody!
Quite a bit of business to attend to first:
1. The deadline for the Vancouver To Boston With Love flags is May 21 (Tuesday). So if you haven't put yours in the mail yet, but would still like to participate, you best overnight/first-class those guys. I am elated to tell you all I just saw on flickr the organizers have received over 600 flags! That's amazing. I can't wait to see pictures of the display.
2. If you haven't voted on our Madrona Road Challenge - please do so!
3. Many of our wonderful guild members are off at Quilt Market, but if you are free and in town there will be a sew-in on Saturday at Maker Works from 12-4pm. Unfortunately I won't be able to be there this time, but hopefully everyone gets some time to sew.
Okay! Onward and upward
Debbie has a quilt in the Moda Bake Shop! "Basic Math" looks like a great pattern for using your favorite layer cake!
And look at Debbie's booth at Quilt Market! ACCK! So exciting - wish I could be there!
I have gotten a chance to do some blogging, at least! Here's my post about my Madrona Road entry:
and my To Boston With Love flags...
Look at these adorable Paper Doll blocks Pam's cranking out? So sweet.
Rossie made another lovely quilt! and she's moving into a new studio space! So rad! Congrats, Rossie!
And Lynn finished her beautiful, stunning Tealorange quilt. Fabulous!
Happy Weekend, everyone!

Weekly Round-Up for 5/10/2013
First things first, please (members only) take a moment to vote on the Madrona Road Challenge entries blogged HERE.
It's been a bit quiet in blog land - I think we're all away from our sewing machines enjoying the warm sunny weather!
But there have been a couple of developments...
Dorie has released an ADORABLE Skipping Steps Quilting Pattern. Look at those embroidered critters!
Lynn has made great progress quilting her TealOrange quilt - so pretty!
And Jen B is running another Echino Fabric swap if you're interested in getting a nice stash of these stellar fabrics.
It's raining now so maybe I'll go ahead and kickstart the ol' sewing machine...
Happy Mother's Day to all you great Moms out there! xoxo
