Weekly Round Up for February 9th, 2014!

Last weekend was the retreat! For those of us who couldn't go, Pam has a nice post about it on her blog.

Looks like she got a lot done! Including this sweet top:

Debbie has two quilts on her blog this week. A super striking one called Mode Mondrian:

And a mock up of the fantastic quilt she has in the book Quilting with a Modern Slant. She also has a tutorial on putting a facing on a quilt (rather than binding it.)

Lynn is showing off this amazing red and white quilt she made last year, for the Year of Red and White Challenges hosted by SewCalGal.

Kathy is going to be teaching Curvy Improv at Pink Castle Fabrics in March!

Our other Kathy is also teaching a class at Pink Castle in March - called Finishing Touches: Binding and More! Which will cover machine binding, when to use bias binding, choosing backings, and labeling your quilt, and more...

As for me, I've been working on my scrappy plus quilt, cutting lots of lime fabrics, and I finished my super bright super tote:

Hope to see you at the sew in today.  If not, Happy Valentine's Day on Friday, everyone!
