The meeting was held at Maker Works on September 24th with 26 members in attendance. We had 1 member join us on Zoom.
- MQG Community Outreach Quilt 2026 - Rossie and Dorie have been creating some beautiful awesomeness for our entry and shared status. It's looking great!
- Liberty Fabric
- We still have Liberty Fabric available to purchase! Please see Carol for assistance!
- We are planning for Liberty Sew-In where we will have attendees create blocks using the fabric to be made into charity quilt(s)
- Programs -
- The Board has discussed the possibility of a bag class which is targeted for next spring. More to come!
- Swaps/Challenges
- The self-portrait challenge - thank you everyone for participating!
- Skill Share - Amy S. gave a presentation on screen printing! Thank you Amy!
- Member Spotlight - Melodee showed us all her great makes! Thank you Melodee!
- Quilt Shows
- Gerald R Ford Library show this coming winter - we passed along a sign up sheet for interest at the last meeting, but we need more info so please sign up (or re-sign up) using the google form.
- Sutherland-Wilson Farmstead in Pittsfield Township summer 2026. We have been invited back for next year and we have started a committee.
