Weekly Round-Up for May 4, 2014!

First off, it was awesome to see everyone at the meeting! And here is a glimpse of the pincushions from the pincushion swap! Good work, everyone!

Pam (who made the tiny flying geese) wrote a blog post on the swap, and made a second paper pieced pincushion as a gift for Vicki:
So adorable, Pam!

Jenna's finished Play on Point:

Such a great design! and I love the colors, too. She's promising to post a tutorial soon.

Rebekah has finished her Penny Patch quilt, using Stitched in Color's Penny Patch Quilt Along's directions as a guide:

She expresses some reservations about the contrast between the foreground and background colors, but I think it looks great!

Ginia had her Wild Geese quilt published in Quilter's Newsletter's Best Scrap Quilts. This one is a reproduction of a Civil War era quilt. Congratulations!

Here's the modern version she and Brenda made using much larger half square triangles:

Speaking of being published, Lynn has two quilts in Gwen Marston's new book, Minimal Quiltmaking. Very exciting, Lynn!

Hope everyone makes it to the sew in today!
